EVERYONE IS WELCOME

At the last meeting of the Social Justice Council on February 22, participants brainstormed about our priorities for social justice activities. The top four areas that we identified were Immigration, Democracy and Voting, Climate Justice, and Sustainability. Now it is time for us to flesh out this outline with some concrete plans. At the meeting on March 22, we will break into small groups to discuss each of these issues. Each group will identify some specific goals, discuss what we need to learn before embarking on these goals, and start making plans for action.

Everyone who has an interest in any of these issues is welcome, whether or not you have participated in the past.

We will gather downstairs in the Grange immediately following coffee hour. If you can’t attend in person, you can sign in on Zoom.

And while we’re gathering, let’s join together in making signs for the No Kings March on March 28. Bring cardboard if you have any; we’ll provide the markers. Hope to see you all there.
