Wedding services celebrate the love of two individuals who have chosen to come together in marriage and formally pledge their commitment to one another. Each wedding is created in collaboration between the couple and the minister, to reflect their personalities, relationship, values, religious beliefs and practices. Each wedding is unique. We have no standard format because of our strong respect for each person’s beliefs and values. This respect and Unitarian Universalist minister’s seminary education enable our ministers to be skilled officiants for interfaith weddings and atheist weddings.

Unitarian Universalist congregations and ministers joyfully bless same-sex marriages. Unitarian Universalists affirm the inherent worth and dignity of all people and have a long history of promoting equal rights of people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ).
