Learning How to Sail My Ship: Lessons from Louisa May Alcott

Speaker, Danielle Garrett, intern minister at First Unitarian Church, Portland, with celebrant  Bonnie Withers. In addition to being a beloved children’s author, Louisa May Alcott was a Unitarian and friend and contemporary of some of our most famous 19th century UU ancestors. This Sunday, Danielle will reflect on how her relationship to this UU hero has changed during her journey from childhood reader to UU minister and explore how our historical figures speak to our contemporary lives as Unitarian Universalists. This service will be online and in person.
