Our Minister

Reverend Judy Zimmerman

Let me be the first of many to welcome you to the Mid-Columbia Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. Ours is a religious tradition that draws inspiration from many sources. We are a theologically diverse congregation that is not joined by a creed or doctrine. Instead we are held together by a commitment to walk together as companions in spiritual journey. We offer encouragement and support to one another, because lives of spiritual growth and integrity are fostered in loving community, not alone. We work for peace and justice because we know we cannot flourish until all living things prosper. We strive to embody the words of Unitarian minister William Ellery Channing who said, “may your life preach more loudly than your lips.”

I invite you to join us for Sunday worship at 10 a.m. Each Sunday we have religious education and nursery care. Our members come from both the Washington and Oregon areas of the Gorge. You’re welcome to contact me with questions about this congregation or Unitarian Universalism at jzimmerman@uuma.org or 541-241-6771. We look forward to seeing you !
