This month’s Community Forum (Third Thursday – Apr 16) will explore the critical elements that go into assuring that our local elections are free, fair, secure and accessible. Our panel includes the County Clerks of Wasco and Hood River Counties, the Auditor of Klickitat County, a representative from the League of Women Voters and an experienced ballot counter.

Voting is a central piece in the larger picture of our democracy.  Conducting elections requires connecting many pieces of a larger jigsaw puzzle. What questions do you have about how elections are run in the Gorge? What are the differences in election procedures between Oregon and Washington? What is the future of local elections?
