Our Native Neighbors in the Gorge.

Sunday, November 17 at 10 am – November is Native American Heritage Month. That makes this a great time for us to start developing a better understanding of the indigenous people who  make their homes along the Columbia River. What is the history of their relationship with our government? How have these interactions affected their lives? And what do we as a primarily White congregation need to understand about their experiences in the Gorge? Join members of our DEI Resource Group as they share what they have learned about our neighbors along the Nch’i-Wàna, or Big River.  This service will be in person only.
