Members and friends of UU Congregations in our Mt. Hood Cluster have been invited to participate in nationwide rallies on April 5 to protest the policies of the current administration. Although political opinions may differ, many UUs are looking for ways to promote our values in the face of threats to democracy, health care, the environment, justice, and fairness. Our DEI group is therefore inviting those who are interested to attend one of these rallies. Our local march will begin at 11 a.m. on the lawn area south of Ferment Brewing, 403 Portway Ave (next to the big waterfront parking field) and march up to the Salmon Fountain for a noon rally, ending at 1 p.m. For details, go to: Hands Off!
