“Covenant of the Salmon People, ” Columbia Center for the Arts, Hood River, 215 Cascade Ave., Hood River. 6 pm.  The screening is free, but you must register for a ticket in advance.  Click here to register.  Salmon are a critical first food that have sustained the Tribe since time immemorial.  The Nez Perce’s covenant with the salmon is integral to the Tribe’s culture, history, and current restoration work, including their advocacy to breach the four Lower Snake River dams.  Meet at the Columbia Center for the Arts at 5:40 pm.  Pat Everson-Brady.
