Fellowship Ingathering Sunday

Sunday, September 8th at 10 am. Fellowship Ingathering Sunday. We will be launching a new year as we meet and greet our new minister, Rev. Barbara Prose. Join us at the Rockford Grange

There is great anticipation brewing around our Annual Ingathering Service as we gather to begin a new Fellowship year AND to welcome our new minister, Rev. Barbara Prose. Whether you believe in serendipity or divine providence, we are indeed fortunate that Rev. Prose has accepted our offer to serve as minister. After receiving her Master of Divinity degree from Bangor Theological Seminary in 2009, Rev. Prose served the All Souls Unitarian Church of Tulsa Oklahoma from 2010 to 2023.  As the Executive Minister of this 2,000 member congregation (one of the largest UU churches in the US), she led a staff of 20 or more.

Rev. Prose moved to Hood River over a year ago and has been enjoying spending time – especially Friday mornings – with her granddaughter in Washougal.

Rev. Prose also serves as Executive Director of the Portland-based Interfaith Movement for Immigrant Justice (“IMIrJ”). We are pleased to support Rev. Prose as she continues to lead IMIrJ’s vital programs while also serving as our minister this coming year.

This Sunday’s service will provide an opportunity to re-connect and to re-commit to one another and to an exciting and meaningful year ahead. Please consider inviting and bringing friends and neighbors; we will not only be introducing our congregation to Rev. Prose, but also introducing the Fellowship to the wider Mid-Columbia community, visitors and newcomers.
