On November 20, MCUUF members will be voting on a racial justice resolution proposed by the Eighth Principle Task Force. This Sunday, in preparation for this vote, several members of the task force will lead a service exploring our complex relationship to racial justice issues. How does our long history of systemic racism continue to affect our country? How do those of us who are white benefit from our position of privilege? What might be our blind spots when considering this issue? There will be time for discussion after the service. In preparation, if you have not done so already, you might consider going online and taking the Implicit Association Test (https://implicit.harvard.edu/implicit/takeatest.html). Your results may surprise you!
