“The FISH Food Bank, 54 years of serving our community” with Marianne Durkan, President of the FISH Food Bank Board (in person), Dan Ball as celebrant, and music provided by Susan Randolph. We will present an update how FISH has responded to the unprecedented needs of our food insecure neighbors in the recent years. The focus will include how FISH has increased their volunteer base and recruitment of bilingual/bicultural volunteers and board members, staff changes, equity training, and implementation. Food is a human right and everyone deserves to have nutritious, culturally desirable food. FISH affirms the worth and dignity of all people and serves our communities with respect and strive to move closer towards food security. In person only.
