Virtue and Evil Side by Side

Let’s assume Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn got it right when he wrote in Gulag Archipelago, “Gradually it was disclosed to me that the line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either—but right through every human heart—and through all human hearts.” Maybe a route to health and virtue is to give up on eradicating evil and instead to integrate it. Internal Family Systems theory, compassionate love, and radical acceptance might show us how.
