Your Money or Your Life

I’ve heard it said that in Europe, people work to live, while in the United States, we live to work. No matter who you are or what family or culture you were raised in, most of us have complicated feelings about money. Those complicated feelings often prevent us from talking about money at all. But we broke through one taboo on April 6, talking about Easter. And we’re going to break through another taboo on May 4, by talking about money. How do you feel about money? With whom do you discuss financial matters? Is generosity a spiritual practice of yours? Why does the fellowship even exist and how is its existence supported financially? I look forward to continuing to do this counter cultural work together and to seeing you on Sunday!
